Velocity means income for them via VAT.

And higher velocity is a form of QE by itself.

The whole fiat system can only keep working if the money supply keeps increasing, what way doesn't matter for them.

Of course it can't run away since inflation would indeed become hyper inflation and that kills the system rather fast.

In the end the population pays for those games one way or the other.
