LOL: I turned off WiFi and turned on 5G in my iPad - to go out - and I wondered why a podcast stopped playing on Apple HomePod smart speaker

HomePid works without Bluetooth over WiFi but obviously not over internet …

So it is more specific to that address rather than feeding off larger signals.
