It looks to me that individuals chose to acquire #Bitcoin through their trad broker rather than to self-custody. That’s what happen when the utility of #BTC is being reduced to be just an investment.

I’ll put it other way. There are different use cases for different users. For some of them custodial solutions are better. The same way not all of them are HODLers but traders. While it is not in line with my approach to Bitcoin I must accept it as people’s own decision. Free will with the caveat that their will might not always be free or their decisions well thought.
Agreed. It's not for me (or anyone) to tell others how to interact with 'Bitcoin', but it doesn't hurt any less to see more and more of it go into the hands of the few and the risks that brings with it.
