“History doesn’t repeat but men do” I don’t think Bitcoin “fixes” everything or anything in an instant magic wand kind of fashion. It just rewards better, more prosocial behaviors and those behaviors slowly compound over time to dramatic, accelerating, positive outcomes long term.

My general thesis is that at societal scale, humans operate as essentially (though not completely) rational incentive input/output machines.

So things / conditions that reward and beget prosocial behavior more than they reward or beget antisocial behaviors can generally be seen as “good.” My experience with bitcoin leads me to believe that on such a balance bitcoin would be “good,” if not very, very good.

But it is early and my experience is by no means the representation of the whole. All I can do this is try to build the future that I want to see.
