It's funny. Imagine you bought an album on #vinyl back in the day, paid about 15 Mark for it and played it uncountable times since then because you absolutely love it. Even today, you still listen to it. The artist got (a tiny part) of your money as a one-time payment. If you calculate your price per hour, it would actually be a pretty bad deal for the artist. Now, imagine your favourite artist is publishing this album with #V4V and you could stream sats every time you listen or even boost it as much as you want. That's what I call a fair deal based on free markets.
