Amethyst/nostr needs to have a way to show a QR code to have people add each other in person.
I'm at a conference, and someone wanted to follow me on nostr and couldn't find me with search. I should have been able to press a button and have them scan a QR code with my npub.
Also, I'll point out that Signal should do this too!
Damus has this. It would be nice if it was standardized across clients. Iām testing out SimpleX as a Signal replacement. It uses QR codes to connect.

Iris has it too. You can use your phone's browser to access it.
Switch to a Nostr client that has that feature. Many clients already do.
Honestly it needs to replace the stupid 'share nsec key' button on the profile view

Now that Signal no longer supports SMS, there's no reason to be forced to use a valid phone number.
