It was designed for nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424 and nostrnests, but his cat is too slow. 😅

Yes. Amethyst is nostrs best hope at going mainstream to the public currently.
Still not happy about the pay to play ecosystem here on nostr though. Paying for services and features that are standard elsewhere like posting larger files and streaming, and you gotta use bitcoin for them....I think it's holding nostr back...
I think damus and primal are also looking like top quality clients. Just patiently waiting to be more feature rich.
