So when I downlaod images from Snort or some other web clients it downloads them as avif file. Is there any way to convert them to JPG's in batches? I find a few websites but they usually allow limited number of covnerts per day.

Use imagemagick, is great for batch converting images.

'mogrify -format jpg *.avif'

That's what I was going to suggest.

Also, I usually just use another Nostr client to get a jpg image instead like #Amethyst.

Thanks for your time! Many regards!

Man... This work like charm in my Linux Mint system. I really liked it! Thanks for spending your time and suggesting!

It's a great tool, it truly is a Swiss Army knife for images. It has saved me a lot of time in the past. I'm glad I could help 🫂👍
