I'm of those from the side of the spectrum that truly don't care about people at all. However, in this state, I can recognize that humans are not objects and don't combine well with the law of supply and demand. Once you treat a human as an object or a tool, that human becomes a slave and you are transgressing his/her freedom.

That's why I'm starting to treat human beings at least with respect. I don't really care about any human in particular but I recognize they aren't tools, therefore, they have their own dignity

In terms of personal interaction with people, surely there would be at least a modicum of care in addition to respect.

If someone stumbles to the ground, I can show respect by not laughing but also be caring by offering to help him/her up.

I don't care about people hurting or even dying by their own will or stupidity. But that's just me. I doesn't have to change your own values, morality and choices 😉
