There was a group of children, one had a fishing rod, I asked him where he got it from, they must have thought I was accusing them of stealing it from someone because the one holding the rod awkwardly said "I don't know" then they ran away like they thought I was going to take it from them.

Really is no where to buy fishing gear around here.

It's bizarre, there's so many good fishing spots within a couple hours drive of the town, huge water storage dams that allow boats, rivers with camping areas on the banks etc.
