🇩🇿 Algeria has enacted a law officially prohibiting the issuance, sale, purchase, holding, use and promotion of all crypto assets, including Bitcoin.

Law no. 25-10 also criminalizes crypto mining, the use of digital wallets and the operation of crypto trading platforms.

Fraudsters face up to one year in prison and a $7,700 fine.
