These updates scare me. The last three upgrades resulted in hours of re-learning linux commands and eventually just re-installing the whole OS (Rasp Pi 4). each time. Doesn't imbue much confidence...

Perhaps your Rasp Pi is underpowered? I run on Beelink mini pc with no problems 🤞 I’ve read Rasp Pi 5 and 16 GB RAM recommend as minimum.
