I mean I'm getting myself prepared to get the F out of the US sooner rather than later but how the fuck could you live in Europe and think, yeah I'm hanging around for this?

The same reason people stayed living in USSR and Eastern Europe during communism. They don't want the responsibility of being a free person.

It's much more mellow than the US.
