The HPV vaccine can significantly reduce the incidence of cervical cancer. It increases the chances of women suffering from cancer, not living long enough, or losing their uteruses. I don't think there's any reason not to get vaccinated.
New vaccines and medicines tend to be scary because we don't know much about them. I think education is important in everything.

I have a feeling that the COVID vaccine has led to a situation where people are doubting about vaccines overall (because it was hurriedly approved and widely administered so soon; unlike most other vaccines). So new vaccines will face even more scrutiny now.
I was checking HPV vaccine cost in India -- while it's not expensive, the cost is high enough that most girls can't afford it 🤔🤔 Healthcare in India is not universal.
