COINBASE: May leave the USA if there is no clear regulations

IMO: Fair enough as well… USA are not a Bitcoin or Crypto friendly country… with Elon at the Helm there isnt any progress and the SEC deliberately are dodging doing anything to clear the way

Plenty of other countries ready for them

Adapt or fall behind!

To be fair, there will be no 'falling behind' in regards to countries adopting shitcoin scams. Only those countries who refuse #Bitcoin will be left in the dust. CB leaving so that they can continue robbing noobs of their wealth in other jurisdictions isn't that big a deal IMO.

Ray Youssef (Paxful) intimated something similar on Citadel Dispatch last week - that of he starts over it’s gonna be nowhere USA or Americans.

The USA is at a crossroads and there will be potentially dire consequences for their way of operating here.

Just another sad example of how human greed & poor incentive structures has led fiat brained people to easy money via preying on low hanging fruit through shitcoins vs. all of us banding together & strengthening our numbers with #BTC.

Regardless of what the US does, #Bitcoin is going to win.

Hmmm, fair point.

I fully aggree, that adapting to bitcoin is the key.

But US does not even seem to support Bitcoin either. So from the perspective of why CB leaves, and the regulatory environment in US could make them fall behind. Not specifically that CB leaves them.

Depends how you're viewing it. If you're viewing it from the Federal level, I'd agree (other than Gensler advocating for BTC as a commodity). However, the Feds don't have all the power in this country. A number of states have been embracing Bitcoin & crafting pro-Bitcoin legislation.
