Top 3 reasons:

- as a user: it feels better (I get so anxious on YT shorts, X etc)

- as a entrepreneur: I’ve spent thousands of hours playing around with audience building, tweets, newsletters, podcasts, etc, and the idea of owning your audience is a 10x on the status quo (getting cancelled on someone’s digital real estate is only a question of “when” not “if”)

- as a thinker: freedom-of-speech is the digital world is absolutely critical to a happy and healthy society (the evidence of the ability to censor online that was provided by covid-19 was terrifying)
