blessed, approved, welcomed by God...is everyone who is poor in spirit.

their's is the kingdom of God.

nobody who is NOT impovershed in their spirit gets in the kingdom.

you must understand yourself to be spiritually bankrupt if you want heaven.

"Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to Thy cross I cling"

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
