I just throw whatever I have in there. Works great with celery but hard to find around here.

I have my own way which comes from tradicional Portuguese way. with rice (I use rice, some people, pasta), carrots and onion...
I made a new version with mushrooms. But its as simple as that, sometimes I add also turnip.
Celery is very easy to find around here.
