Encode the token into a generated icon/image similar to robosats avatars or github default avatars based on the ecash token signature. The token itself can be stored in the EXIF data. This way one can visually differentiate one token from another.

Why do you want to differentiate? Isn't part of the point fungibility & privacy? Also giving me Ordinal Inscription heebie-jeebies if someone generates a "rare" cashu token

Whenever you reissue a token, the image would change and be not reproducible. The only idea is to tell a payment from another, and so you can send them as images over instant messaging. They would be slightly more pallatable in your message feed as images than long strings of text
