Never forget last year many states were duped into thinking the UCC was some kind of CBDC plot, w/o realizing it protects self-custody + noncustodial services better than any feel good bitcoin "law".
This was the direct result of everyone's favorite "bitcoin lobbyist".
Just remember that before sending your hard-earned sats to do performative nonsense in state legislatures.
