I’ve actually driven a few and liked a couple of them. Polestar was one of the best I tried so far, but public charging networks still suck. Also, fuck Tesla.

This was a shitpost.

Public charging in very well built out in Norway, but I seldom use it. I’m not sure how successful a car holiday in central Europe would be, considering it this summer. Have never been abroad with this car.

Shitposting is way! 💩👏🏻👏🏻

I’m sure Norway easily beats the USA in adoption but I’ve also heard cold climates are not optimal for EV batteries.

Here you either have the proprietary Tesla charging port or three other versions that are incompatible with each other without an adapter. It reminds me of that Black Mirror episode.

The battery doesn’t last that long during winter, but still no problem. I never drive more than 400km on a day. A perk with EV during winter is the ability to preheat your car when plugged in to a charger. I have a cheap / dumb charger in the mountains.

I think all new cars in NO have the Type 2 plug now. At least not an issue anymore, used to be a couple years ago.

Last summer I rented a Kia EV4 (do not recommend) and parked at a hotel. There were separate chargers for Tesla and other EVs, so I used the only one I could plug into. When I came back to recharge at the end of the day I found a Tesla parked in my spot with the adapter connected. I yanked it out (it didn’t lock because it was an adapter) and plugged in mine, and left them a note on their windshield reminding them to use their own damn charger. 🤣

Tesla owners are the worst. 😂😂😂
