I think going deeper would be a waste of time, I just had a genuine idea and wanted to share it, presidents seem to be useless, it would be better for people to elect law makers and have the police to enforce those laws.

In which part do you think this is a bad idea? Tell me your honest opinion, not just some event that happened in Peru some years ago

I don't think it's a bad idea. In fact, it could be an excellent option. Both a presidential representative democracy and a parliamentary representative democracy have pros and cons. The key is how you structure it and define the incentives that make the chosen political system work. In Peru, in theory, they have a presidential representative democracy. In practice, the Congress/Parliament does what it wants with the President. Not only that, but within Congress itself, there are factions and even political mafias. I suggested you go deeper because it's the best way to learn, not because I consider your statement to be wrong.

Ok, thanks for explaining your point of view.

If we consider that evil people are drawn to power, maybe it's better to have factions & mafias than one supreme dictator with full power

That’s an authoritarian leader. A country could also have an authoritarian Parliament. In Peru some people consider that they live in a parliamentary dictatorship…

Yes, but I think having decentralized evil is better than centralized evil.

Ideally there would be no evil, but in this planet there's evil
