Nobody can ever take your bitcoin from you. Even if they kill you. This is a feature of Bitcoin that protects you. If you have $100k in gold in your house someone can come in kill you and take the gold. If you have $100k in Bitcoin and they kill you they get nothing and YOU still have $100k in Bitcoin.
