Why can't nostr use its own DHT with its own sec256k1 key? I mean I understand we lose out on the existing nodes, but we won't need a whole new protocol? It could just be a nostr DHT? And if accepting people, the current client and relays could become nodes, which is also a good sized network.
Also can't we derive ed25519 keys with nostr keys? What's the catch there?
