That raises the question of exactly what the purpose of the all that 90s conspiritainment was. I have to admit I don't understand what the point of "predictive programming" is meant to be, but there sure are a lot of eerie coincidences around some of these major events
I assume the aim was to make it clear that if you thought and acted like Mulder you would see career repercussions and be seen as a societal outcast.
I think a lot of it is designed to blackpill people too. Like the elites with their satanic parties, they want everyone to feel they're all-powerful.
It wouldn't surprise me if the orchestrators of events like 9/11 or covid took inspiration from pop culture, since these things are primarily media events.
