Real wood is so rare these days. Everything is garbage polyester resin glued together sawdust with offgassing polyamides and such similar toxic garbage.
Anyhow, not gonna hurt any more to keep using it, maybe someday you will scrape and sand it back and make it nice again :D Or maybe the world will end.
