Recently went to Madeira and really much enjoyed the abundance of banana, mango and avocado trees.

I’m getting to know the residents along our walking route and they are always sharing their fruits with us. I am blown away at the difference in taste and texture of things like papayas and avocados that are tree ripened compared to what I have bought at the grocery store all my life.
You are totally right! One of the best feelings in the world to taste ripe fruits from the tree.
