Gonna give it a try. For now I've been using the g board but denied it network access.
Same.
Strangely, switching to FUTO actually sped up every single app. I think Gboard attempts to make network request, and probably has a timeout and retry which acts as a permanent latency tax when network permissions are withheld.
FUTO, on the other hand, seems to eliminate this latency and every app that uses the keyboard loads faster.
