Hard money is by its very nature a viral and all-conquering technology. It simply cannot be restrained from growing. Monetary history is repeatedly about harder money destroying and eventually replacing the value of easier money. Hard money cannot coexist peacefully with easier monies around it. That situation is an unstable equilibrium.
