sure you can, nutzaps (NIP-61) are a thing and if all else fails nip17 a note with ecash
Seems complicated to me. The oposit of the meme above. Idk, seems to me that Ecash is useful, at least for now, only for "voucher" type of payment l. And taxes are not low, at least using minibits or eNusts wallets.
it only sounds complicated because you're not a developer (I assume, and I apologize if you are) and you're reading technical specs; technically a lightning zap is actually just as complicated.

No, I'm not a developer. But I don't mean technically complicated, I mean complicated from user perspective. Actually, I don't see exactly the problem Ecash is solving, or what new stuff is it bringing to table. Besides voucher stuff, I don't get the purpose yet.
