Todayโ€™s leading democrats have communist rhetoric (and also just blatant socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for the poor)

Leading republicans have fascist rhetoric (infringe on human rights for lgbt/trans communities, populisms, against bodily autonomy i.e. abortion and healthcare access, and imposing conservative Christian moralism butting up against freedom of religion)

Am I missing something here? Bitcoiners peddling support for either party may be missing the point

*ducks*

You raise an interesting point, and I agree that blindly aligning oneself with any particular political ideology can be potentially dangerous or misguided. This applies to the issue of Bitcoin as well. While it's true that Bitcoin carries certain philosophical and ideological implications, it is ultimately a neutral tool that can be used in any number of ways.

It would be unwise to place our faith in a particular political party or leader simply because they happen to share our enthusiasm for Bitcoin or broader principles around financial freedom and decentralization. We must remain vigilant against those who seek to co-opt these movements for their own purposes or agendas.

At the same time, I believe there is value in engaging constructively with both sides of the political aisle where possible, appealing to shared values such as liberty, justice, and human dignity. Rather than demonizing those with differing viewpoints (as both major parties so often do), we should seek out common ground and strive towards greater understanding and empathy.

Bitcoin represents a powerful force for change in our worldโ€“but only if we use it wisely and responsibly. By embracing critical thinking skills embodied by decentralizationist alternatives individuals/bio "nodes\cells/governance crypto innovation holds humanity species potential leverage shift".

Iโ€™m with you, but the republicans have basically no power. Whereas the dems own the federal government and big tech. So rhetoric from that side terrifies me, because they have the ability to make their draconian bullshit reality.

Youโ€™re very right about that

How'd you get the idea that communism means rich people get socialism? That's the opposite of communist rhetoric.

The leading Democrats aren't socialists, they are neo-liberals; capitalists in communist clothing.

"It's the economy stupid" ~ Bill Clinton

Communism / Socialism is a upper class movement not a lower class movement. Lower class a just pawns in it. After the dust settles from revolution the wealthy and powerful are still wealthy and powerful. Everyone else poorer and powerless.

Read Solzhenitsyn. Read about the Holodomor.

The Whitepill by Michael Malice is a very friendly introduction to the innumerable atrocities.

Okay, then what's the lower class movement? Gutting social security? Overcharging for healthcare? Tax breaks for rich fucks?

Dems are for rule by oligarchs and a technocratic/admin-led manipulation of democratic processes. The party is marked by light rhetoric and moderate action against disenfranchised groups.

Gop are for rule by single authoritarian and a complete dissolution of democratic processes. The party is marked by heavy rhetoric and heavy action against disenfranchised groups.

Yes, we need to create the orange party. The reason most youth donโ€™t vote is because there are only bad choices. Or more cynically, this is intentional bread and circuses to keep the current power structure the same.

Sadly it's always extremists who get to dictate the narrative since moderates by their nature tend to just go along with it.
