I prefer to live in rural areas. One of the annoying things about it is that almost all information regarding anything going on or available is only on Facebook (as if the internet isn't a thing, just Facebook). I go without because I just can't do FB. I use to have burner profiles but even that is tedious. Word of mouth is pretty much the only alternative. It's a funny thing.

When I travel I literally have to call specific local people who stay up-to-date on what's happening locally. In some ways it's awesome and in other ways it is crazy making!
