Then I would venture to guess Bitcoin is pretty safe. Plus, proof of work isn't just based on electrical consumption, right?
IDK, when electricity is "for free" it makes the bitcoin connection to the real world virtually nonexistant.
One could go one step further and say that you don't need money at all. something like a startrek utopia...
