I’m going to try some soil-science tactics this week.
Biofumigation with mustard involves using mustard plants, typically from the Brassica family, to suppress soil-borne diseases and pests through natural chemical compounds. These plants produce glucosinolates, which break down to release isothiocyanates, toxic to many pathogens.
Thursday of Friday should be peak flowering and perfect for doing the Biofumigation.
