Non-custodial zaps are minimal. Most people, including myself, are using a custodial solution because an easy non-custodial one does not exist. I'm still hopeful that BTCPay server implements NIP-57 soon so that I can go back to using my node.

That's noncustodial then isn't it? I just use cln plugins so haven't looked to closely at it
