Very cool! I do love some Far Eastern sounds, although my knowledge is very limited.

I make a fair few bits like this with a friend, he’s a crazy collector and I’m the techy/musical one.

Midway through this one it switches to a rhythm made with some obscure Japanese record. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xrHdRF89R-E&pp=ygUQU291bmRtYWtlcnMgcmVrc9IHCQngCQGHKiGM7w%3D%3D

this is soooo good! wow

Thank you! Now I think about it, gonna call my partner on this project to see if we can put the release on RSS.

You should! I would like to listen your other works. Do you have bandcamp/soundcloud?

Well the Soundmakers stuff will be online once I work it out (just spoke to the other producer, he's down but we also need to get Reks on board) but to date the Soundmakers stuff has been vinyl only (and that sold out).

I have my bands https://liotia.bandcamp.com and https://vosoband.bandcamp.com solo stuff https://mirlo.space/inpc and the indie label I engineer for https://on-usound.bandcamp.com/

The aim is to bring most of these into the RSS/Nostr world so people can stream and send stats direct peer to peer... The streaming platforms have been rinsing the music industry for sometime now (along with major labels) and I'm having my own mini rebellion right here.

That said, it's quite a technical challenge for me so they'll be a few mistakes along the way no doubt haha. Gonna follow the artist in the OP on Bandcamp, cheers!

This is a wonderful mission. Seeing more musicians/artists on Nostr is also my dream. It’s a great protocol where you can truly receive the value of your efforts.

Thank you sharing the music!

A pleasure, love the DIY ethic, makes me think of parallels with indie labels across the decades but in modern form.

Yes, exactly! That sums it up perfectly.
