so my shitty cordlesss chinese drill didn't hold much charge (shocker), it's only supposed to be 800 mAh, but it's even less now prob since i had it for years, i noticed the battery had screws so i decided to poke around inside

this thing had fucking three 18350 (not 18650) cells inside, they're half of the physical size but the plastic was molded in a way that 18650s fit inside of it just as good, so i had some samsung 2200 mAH rated 18650s inside a box i keep reclaimed laptop cells and replaced the stubby ones, it involved some soldering ofc, we'll see how it goes

i didnt even know 18350 li-ion cells existed until today :02_learn:
