I checked; still down

Considering how centralised DNS is it has worked remarkably well the past 30 years, but Cloudflare is turning dark and ugly.

Corpo's try to censor DNS all the time. I'm actually really glad that quad9 won their case against Sony recently.

Well I guess technically it's the other way around Sony lost their case that they brought to Quad9.

I've been noticing lately that if I use Chrome (haven't fully switched over to another browser yet) that I have to verify I'm a human for almost every search through cloudflare. It makes the browser basically unusable. Guess it's a good time to switch now.

not necessarily censoring; mine is just down it seems.

Your what?

BTCPayServer, running by now for almost two years on a local laptop

have not checked, might be a different reason

This is different, they are actually being censored. The DNS authorative servers don't respond to dark.fail. As they said, their onion address still works so the site is still operational.

will check, thxs

What's the onion address?

I have it saves in my laptop'a tor browser favorites, I can get it tomorrow
