BLUF Should I break down and by aquaponic fish online, or get a license and go fish locally.

Tried to find food fish locally, no dice. One my last stop at aquarium world the owner look at me like I was a plant for the FBI, said Pet Store are not even all to talk about raising fish for food.

I called the local minnow farm to see what they have, 5 or 6 times they haven't called back, I drove out there and the gate was closed during working hours and there are lockers for fish pickup, but they hate money so much I resigned to the fact my only choices are fish for them or buy them online.

Which do you recommend?
