It is also a good time to remember the continuous suffering and destruction waged upon the Syriac population, whose old Aramaic dialect represents the language in which the first Bible was written and recall the numerous Christian Saints who emerged during the Roman Empire occupation of that land. This same consciousness, further in time, merged with Islam and created the Sufi orders, like the one of Bektashi, who played an integral role in the creation of the Ottoman Empire.

It's a good time to acknowledge and praise the unwavering devotion of the initial Coptic Christian believers of Alexandria and their invisible thread in the overall evolution of knowledge and consciousness. Remember the resilience of the Armenian people in defending their faith and so many others whose spiritual light shines more and more bright upon a world more and more immersed in darkness.
