I'm afraid you are probably right. It seems the individuals in power in the US continue to use their power to enrich themselves, relying on the fact that America is so strong that bad war decisions won't result in bad outcomes for America (yet)... and that presumption will eventually fall over and the net effect of all the money laundering war racket will be America's collapse, slow at first and then all at once.
