Also, don't forget that government isn't some sort of nebulous creature, a boogey man if you will. It's people with good intentions. It's busy bodies who think they know best how you should live your life.
It's your neighbor, who would send men with shiny badges and big guns to your house to lock you up or shoot your face because you had the audacity to put a pink flamingo in your front yard.
It's people who would send men with shiny badges and big guns to your house to rip your screaming children from your arms because you had the audacity to homeschool them or tell the all-knowing pediatrician that you're not comfortable with shooting an experimental mRNA drug into there still forming bodies.
It's the men with big guns and shiny badges, who are just following orders. They can't afford to get fired, they have mouths to feed you know.
These people aren't just the men in suits in Washington DC, it's the mom pushing the cart at the grocery store next to you demanding you were a face mask because she feels unsafe.
Anyone that would use the strong arm of men with guns and shiny badges to force you to bow to their will, that's government.
