And ask yourself what is the incentive for someone pushing it. Do you really want to tinker with something as beautiful as the bitcoin protocol? Don’t risk security or breaking something with a hasty soft fork. Soft forks should only be reserved for serious situations such as a real threat to the protocol or security.
