Hi there. My node is down and it seems to no fixing it.
Any good guidance on how to start over? Just sweep the ssd, reflash the mSD and dl the blockchain again and take it from there?
I have a backup of the channel, so hopefully some can be restored. And if not most of my channels was already closed and it’s not that big of a loss.
I guess the channels I have, when they are being closed on me, the funds go back to my onchain wallet?
For Bitcoin full node, you can keep the blockchain, it is in the datadir directory.
When you reinstall bitcoin core, you can point it to this dir and you will not need to download the whole blockchain again.
It should work. Unless the files got corrupted.
For lightning node, I don't know, but if a channel is closed, I cannot be reopened, I think.
The backup recovery, I guess may abd should work.

Just create a new umbrel lightning node and follow their restore instructions. It's really that easy. Unfortunately all restored channels will be forced closed. Hopefully you have also written down your 24 words needed for your online funds. This is needed because the channel.backup need that too

Umbrel is closing my channels. Thank you for the wait and sorry for the sats loss. Did What I could for restoring the node.
Have spun up a new now and is starting all over again.
