Excuse my ignorance in cannabis.

But what is that? Is a leaf, root, fruit. Why doesn’t it look like any part of a plant?

It's the flower.

Is there a reason why it’s mushed? Is that how the make it?

It's the way it grows. Little and large buds that make a fat flower.
