Thinking, I’ve been running QubesOS as my main operating system for more than a year, including on two old Thinkpad X230 with low end resources.

So I’ve gotten used to dealing with most challenges, also been installing some exotic OS-es. It is an extremely powerful solution for managing surveillance, building SoMe accounts/networks as well as testing and prototyping.

Would there be any interest out there for some coaching for sats?

Since the underlying philosophy and architecture is all about building good habits I think this would be the right approach, just producing howtos and such is not the same.

Could be a group too, with onboarding & sharing experiences, maybe more for “half-devs” like me and/or ordinary users who want to step up for real :-)

Qubes is great for isolation of malicious code for threat hunting. Most people get hung up on the networking/usb and copy/paste between VMs. I use Proxmox similar to Qubes.

Tested Proxmox a decade ago, can it be used the same way?

The really useful thing is building good habits that separate things up well, anything that can do that well is worth trying out as I see it :-)

It has come a long way in decade. Can run VMs or LXC with SDN vlans and full network stacks. I run a full home cyber range network on it. Can split up vGPUs or passthrough hardware. Not so much desktop but I use mostly cli.

Yeah anything is possible in command line only hehe :-)

But for general, daily use then running all and any VMs in ONE screen only, seamlessly is pure genius
