Looking at the new releases people are hyping in my feed. #primal still has no #amber sign in and #yakihonne apk seems to be google play store or compile yourself only. #olas does nothing when I enter my copied bunker info from #amber and click login, even though it says enter nsec or bunker.

Back to #amethyst then. For all the talk about tons of clients, pickins are slim if you don't yolo your nsec into every hot new app that wanders by.

Glad I read this, thought it was just me!

Nope. It sends pretty mixed messages that we post all this crap about how to keep your nsec safe and then our biggest influencers constantly push apps that make best practices impossible.

That is enough to scare off new users so I know it hurts adoption. So far #coracle and #amethyst are the only android clients I know of that support #amber and are available through free methods. Coracle won't work with my #citrine relay so it really only leaves one option.

Yes, totally agree... Coming to this with a Bitcoiner mentality and the notion that my nsec might be somewhat valuable in the future... Luckily I changed on #amethyst from the outset... Was very surprised when I found other clients wanting...

This is my biggest gripe about Primal in my recent review. They say signer support will be coming, though.

Take a look at my attempt at an exhaustive list of apps with external signer support:

Looks interesting. Thanks for putting that together.
