You basically need to learn Chinese to use it, but it’s better than every other social media in the USA once you set up your profile and make friends.

I’m into some common things, cameras, watches, for that kind of stuff, I like the algorithm better for discovering content. It’s much better curated than pure outrage-porn distractions that makes all other American apps tick

English translation is good, and needed, however there is def a language barrier and not everything translates well which doesn’t facilitate good conversations though.

The biggest surprise is seeing the level of which Chinese wealth vs American wealth. It’s very extreme.
