Same experience and it was actually shocking how perpetually marred up the skies are where I live. Even being aware of what’s going on I still had become desensitized to it a bit.

I was there a few weeks ago. It was amazing. Have fun over there!
Both Argentina and Chile impressed me a lot. People are still acting like decent human beings. I wish English was a bit more popular because my Spanish is so and so. :))
