It would be nice if this 'backup' happened in realtime , to a local relay , then it would also become a fast cache for your feed too.
Something I've also been thinking about recently.
Getting all your notes is pretty straightforward task and can be done with variety of tools. From https://nostrsync.live/ to nostr:nprofile1qqsd4dkxqewy8xum47ctpu0ltgxxsfemeewpjkdyzk9ddfcg286s0dspr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucmewp5x2unsw4hxktn5dajxz7gppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctv9uhvzusl's Nostr Backup Script https://github.com/jooray/nostr-scripts
What is not trivial is preserving the whole context of your notes and your timeline. How would you do that? To do it for me I'm thinking of following steps:
1. Backup my notes.
2. Backup all notes where my npub is mentioned in the p tag.
3. Repeat previous two steps for all npubs I'm following.
4. Backup all t tags I'm following.
5. Parse all npubs from all the backups and get their kind 0 notes.
Can this be simplified? Is this enough for seamless offline experience?
